When Zion found out he had been accepted into the WinShape College Program, he was hopeful that he had found a place where he could feel comfortable and loved. He had no idea he would be gaining a second family.
Since beginning his WinShape journey, Zion has been invited into a community unlike any he’s experienced. For the first time in his life, he is surrounded by friends who are consistent in how they live out their faith and genuine in how they care for one another. In a season of many “firsts” and difficult decisions, Zion has the confidence to face each day with his WinShape College Program community by his side.
Zion joined the WinShape College Program in the Fall of 2017. He grew up in Buford, GA and graduated from Lakeview Academy in Gainesville, GA. He came to Berry College to study Marketing. When he’s not studying, you’ll find Zion on the basketball court or hunting for a good zip line.
