Impact Every Generation

Our Vision

We envision a community of Christ-followers who bear one another’s burdens as we strengthen our faith and engage our world with the love and truth of the One who brought us together. We lead by serving, impact by example, and love by our actions.

Our Core Values

  • Christ-followership

I Corinthians 11:1 – "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ."
We believe our most important goal is to follow Christ and demonstrate His supremacy in all things (Col. 1:15-18). Only by following Him do we have the God-ordained authority to lead others into His purposes.

  • Integrity

Proverbs 11:3 – "The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity."
We believe integrity means a person is fully integrated and without duplicity, so that his or her thoughts, words, and actions all agree with one another. For a Christian, this means we’re guided by the Holy Spirit and uphold integrity in all of our decisions.

  • Servanthood

I Peter 4:10 – "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms."
Based on the example of Christ (John 13:15-16) who served to the point of death (Phil. 2:5-11), we believe God calls each person to a life of service. God has given each of us gifts for serving others and subsequently giving God’s grace to them. We faithfully and diligently discover and use our gifts to serve others.

  • Unity

John 17:22-23 – "[Jesus prayed to the Father,] I have given [my followers] the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."
We believe the greatest method for displaying Christ’s supremacy is to show love for one another through unity. This is perfectly displayed by God the Father’s love for His Son and adopted children. We strive to be united in a common love for Jesus and a continual pursuit of pleasing Him.

Our history makes us who we are.

It was in 1984 that S. Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-A, Inc., began the WinShape Foundation with the launch of the College Program. Initially consisting of scholarships and a supportive community, we have since evolved into a four-year student journey that develops disciples, creates community, and launches leaders.
